I live 20km out the back of Havelock North in Hawe's Bay and cannot get traditional ADSL... Infact I cannot even get standard Dial-Up... My Dial-Up runs on average at 33% of the speed of the average 56kbps connection. This is due to the fact that there is a radio link service here that Telecom should have upgraded many years ago but still have not till this day... (But thats another story).Anyway... I am really keen on the idea of getting a wireless broadband connection or WiMax but I am having extreme difficulty finding a descent plan and company.I have perfect line of sight to the signal tower on Mt Erin and on Kahuranaki. And have found that most companies broadcast of Mt Erin... Except for air net and wasp... the only 2 descent connections I can find (of which im about 200m too far to the side to reach that signal).Does anybody know of any companies at all that will connect me with a descent internet connection (ideally above 4mbps - what air net and wasp offer) but I will settle for less if the service charges are reasonable.So... if anyone knows of any possible connections at ALL please let me know... even if your not sure if they will work as im very sick of the incredibly SLOW and faultly internet I have had for the past 9 years.
